Melba Pattillo Beals was just 15 years old in 1957 when she was chosen to help integrate Central High School in Little Rock Arkansas.  While white students were planning their proms, Melba and her friends were staring down double-barrel shotguns.  We’ll talk with Melba about the impact of that experience and hear her solutions for our current cultural divides.
